Planning Active Adventure, Wellness Travel & Luxury Journeys is my passion. When you combine all 3 it makes for a WOW experience! They complement each other. An Active Adventure itinerary is about wellness & discovery. Luxury Travel itineraries always include wellness amenities & luxury means you can do as you wish.
Helping my clients create an unforgettable travel itinerary is the goal. Whether it is choosing the right river cruise for them or building a customized travel itinerary based on specific wants is what my craft is all about. After 30 years I'm rather good at it.

Ruins of the legendary city of Troy and me.
Turkey is where legend & history converge.
It’s a spectacular destination to explore. I loved it!
Turkey’s exotic capital, Istanbul, sits on the Bosphorus Strait. This long stretch of water divides the city into two continents separating parts of Asia Turkey (Anatolia) from European Turkey. The Bosphorus also unites the Black Sea & the Sea of Marmara. Many wars & battles have been fought over this strategic point.
Turkey is where legend & history converge. For those who love ancient ruins, history, myth, stunning landscapes & fabulous shopping- the Istanbul’s Spice Market is a must see - Turkey can’t be beat. Turkish cuisine is a culinary melting pot & their 7000-year-old wine making skills will impress.Turkey is also a more moderately price destination, compared to Western Europe which is a big plus!
Istanbul was the bookends of my Globus Turkish 8 Night escape. I arrived a day prior to the tour, which is always wise. I had a day by myself to explore as a pedestrian – no car street close to my hotel. All the 2 miles down to the water & all the 2 miles up.
My Globus Tour explored the most prominent attractions of the North Aegean coast, including Gallipoli, Pamukkale’s white cotton castle, the ancient Roman ruins of Ephesus, Troy’s UNESCO World Heritage site, and Pergamon’s ancient city. Globus also has an excellent full day tour of Istanbul, exploring the old and historic areas of the city.
Add a two night trip to Cappadoccia/ Central Anatolia to explore the ancient cave dwellings & unique culture. You must splurge & take a balloon ride to view the stunning landscape from above.Turkey is a large country. There is much more wonder to appreciate. I plan to return.
