Planning Active Adventure, Wellness Travel & Luxury Journeys is my passion. When you combine all 3 it makes for a WOW experience! They complement each other. An Active Adventure itinerary is about wellness & discovery. Luxury Travel itineraries always include wellness amenities & luxury means you can do as you wish.
Helping my clients create an unforgettable travel itinerary is the goal. Whether it is choosing the right river cruise for them or building a customized travel itinerary based on specific wants is what my craft is all about. After 30 years I'm rather good at it.

Arenal Volcano Costa Rica
Costa Rica is one of my favorite destinations. Honeymooners, Wellness seekers & Family groups will enjoy the unique ecosystems that Costa Rica has to offer. From surfing beaches, rain & cloud forests, volcano treks all pulsing with biodiversity, this destination still has it all.
I have had the opportunity to visit Costa Rica several times to explore different areas & return to familiar haunts. The Arenal Volcano in central Costa Rica is a big draw with lots of unique accommodations, adventure hiking & zip lines. While the town of La Fortuna has become touristy during high season, the view of the Arenal volcano is still spell binding. You must indulge in the therapeutic hot springs at Tabacon Resort. A good soaking in the mineral waters after a day of activity is an experience you will not forget. If you cannot stay at the resort then do the Hot Springs & dinner package. So worth it.
Another unique destination is Tortuguero, a village in Limón Province, on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast, which is part of Tortuguero National Park. These rain forest-covered sandbar beaches are a major nesting site for green & leather back turtles. I was lucky to witness a sea turtle layer her eggs at night under the watchful eyes of our guide. This was my National Geographic moment. The fresh wetlands of the park are protected & home Manatees, Jaguars & other wildlife. Our wildlife seeking boat tour at dawn with the awaking sounds of nature was inspiring.
While Central America has its safety issues, Costa Rica a relatively safe destination & tourism is very important to the country. The people are gracious & the food & service are excellent.
